ST. XAVIER’S COLLEGE, Kathmandu, is an educational institution of higher learning established and managed by the Nepal Jesuit Society. In 1988 A.D., the Jesuits established it. The College has provided high-quality education from its beginning and has aided in the growth of the country by producing workers who are well qualified.
St. Xavier's College now offers 13 distinct programs. It offers Ten Plus Two (10+2) Science curriculum through connection with National Examination Board (NEB) and A-level Non-Science and Science under Cambridge Assessment International Education. St. Xavier's College provides bachelor's degree programs in B.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. CSIT, Bachelor of Information Management (BIM), Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Social Work and English), and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) with affiliation from Tribhuvan University. In addition, it manages the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program with Kathmandu University's support. Additionally, it provides Masters degrees through Tribhuvan University in Microbiology (M.Sc. Microbiology), Physics (M.Sc. Physics), and Business Studies (MBS).
+2 in St. Xaviers college
There are two sub-streams in the scientific program at the Higher Secondary Level (+2): biology and physics. Biology, Chemistry, English, Extra Math, Mathematics, Nepali, and Physics are the subjects available for the Biology sub-stream. For the Physics sub-stream, options are Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Nepali, and Physics.
Admission Criteria
- Admission to Grade 11 at St. Xavier’s College is merit-based.
- Candidates who apply should have secured minimum ‘A’ in Science, Compulsory Mathematics, Optional Mathematics, English & minimum ‘B+’ in all other subjects in S.E.E
- Entrance Examination performance.
- The shortlisted students will have to sit for an interview by a panel of experts before being selected for admissions at SXC.

Clubs in St. Xaviers college
Through the formation of several clubs, including UDAAN, Social Service Club, St. Xavier's Solidarity Movement, Sports Club, ECO Club, Physics Club, Chemistry Club, Social Service Environment Club (SET), Art and Culture Club, and Literature Club, the college encourages its students participate in activities. You can join one of them and believe me there is lot fun in the program held by them. You will learn leadership and have fun in the journey.
